The 60's tinged 2010 Chanel Haute Couture show walked in Paris today. And in a word it was magnificent. A departure from harsh blacks and whites of Chanels past. Pastel confections of all kinds suits, evening and cocktail dress made me want to throw on some winged liner, frosted lips and find an occasion for all of the grandeur. I really loved it all from the bouffant bow hair do's to layers of chiffon. But of course the money shot is Karls love Baptist in a solid gold metallic wedding tux walking with his blond Lisa Pressley'esc bride. Le sigh.....
